We are repeat customers of AFW and are very happy to have a store in Surprise. Great product and employees. The only thing that prevented us from giving 5 stars is the furniture pick up. The problem is the customers are not given a specific time to pick up their furniture. People will queue in their vehicles from different directions to get to the pick up door potentially causing parking lot road rage. Someone tried to cut in front of us but fortunately we have a bigger vehicle and discouraged them from doing so. The employees were super cool at pick up, but also said many customers did not like how it was a free for all to get their furniture. Maybe a text to the customer to come to a certain pick up door at a certain time would help. Other than that, we are happy with the new store.

During my visit, I was unable to locate any staff members to assist me. My attempts to inquire about bunk bed pricing proved unsuccessful, as all employees were congregated at the customer service counter, engaged in unprofessional and distracting behavior. I was forced to raise my voice to gain their attention. Ultimately, I expressed my dissatisfaction and left the store without making a purchase. I subsequently completed my transaction at a competitor's location.

Visited today since we just moved to the area and wanted a few more pieces after we go out amazing delivery from Glendale location , we figured since is open they have all the items they are advertising but that was not the case , I was planning in purchasing 3-5 items and every single one was not available and was told to purchase there but pick up at Glendale , lady was very pushy trying to make a sale . I will just be shopping at the Glendale location from now on , don’t open a store if you don’t have the items available to purchase or at least take them off the floor until then

I had a very disappointing experience with this company's customer service. I was assured that my delivery would arrive within the timeframe I needed, and that there was no need to adjust the date. Had I known otherwise, I would have rescheduled for the following day to ensure someone would be home.
Unfortunately, it now feels like I was misled just to secure the sale. The delivery team attempted to deliver outside of the agreed-upon window, and when I wasn’t available, I was told the redelivery fee would be waived "as a courtesy"—even though the missed delivery wasn’t my fault.
As a result, my family and I are now without furniture and will be sleeping on the floor for two days. It’s clear that once they have your money, customer care becomes an afterthought. Very disappointing experience.

Great looking store in Surprise, however, getting assistance left a lot to be desired. We walked around for about a half an hour, but couldn't find an available "Red Shirt" to assist us - it wasn't really that busy. Very disappointed.

I changed location of delivery. I've been getting furniture, referring customers..Last couch from.glendale location was broke. Believed to be off floor.
Today .I.got a couch, dirty, scars, no.answer when I call. I will be visiting soon I get off! This.will not be the Case again .

Save your money and go somewhere else. We bought a couch from them in mid-January and the couch is either missing a power cord or a connector. I have not been able to use the 2nd recliner since we bought the couch. The AFW customer service is the WORST. They tell you over and over that they are going to "look into it and call you back", but they never do. If you try and escalate the call to a supervisor the agents tell you they "don't transfer phone calls". They won't let me send them a video of the issue. And they won't just have someone face-time me. They don't understand that the problem is a POWER CORD from my photos and assume that I don't know how to connect the cords together. After a dozen phone calls to try to get the part I need their solution is to load the couch up on a trailer, drive it 2 hours away so they can "connect it correctly". If I have to load the couch and drive it down the hill Im just returning the couch, period.

Great new addition to Surprise. It’s nice to not have to drive so far now to have opportunity to buy purchase some great furniture. The location is huge, selection vast and services friendly. We came in looking for patio furniture. Prices were good for what they had to offer and I’d say price ranges for all budgets.

I went to the grand opening on May 10 th, they had lots of ruffles and I signed for some of them, believe it or not I won a seabreeze copper healthcare mattress set king size. I got them delivered today free of charge. I’m so happy for American Furniture warehouse opening in Surprise. I didn’t think it was real on thill I got them delivered today.

In CREDIBLE! Such a cool store its not even funny! Greatest selection I ever seent, and I seent em all. Staff was super chill yet energetic and knowledgeable.. Nobody warned me I wouldn't want to leave. 🤣
